On Screen Keyboard (for touch panels)
Scenario:
You are at the front of the class with your touch panel but you need to type something. So you have to walk all the way back to your computer.
Solution:
Set the onscreen keyboard to be easily accessible.
right click on the task bar (at the bottom of the screen)
choose “task bar” settings
scroll down to “touch keyboard” change it to “always”
close the settings panel.
Now you should see the touch screen keyboard as a button on your task bar
Clicking on that (or tapping with your finger) will bring up an onscreen keyboard.
Additionally, you can adjust settings on the keyboard with the gear in the top right.
NOW:
When you need to type, tap the keyboard button and type away.
