The following explains how to add a YouTube video and/or a video file to the PBS "Campus Library" which can be found at http://library.parkviewbaptist.com

How to add a video

  1. Open up a web browser (ex: Internet Explorer or Google Chrome)

  2. Navigate to http://launch.parkviewbaptist.com

  3. Under the "Sign-in" options select "Lightspeed Systems"

  4. Start typing "Parkview Baptist" in the "My School" field and you should see your division in the list and you can select it (ex: Parkview Baptist Elementary, Parkview Baptist Middle, etc.)

  5. Enter your PBS email address and password in the remaining fields and click sign-in

    1. Note: If you have any issues signing in please let us know by emailing helpdesk@parkviewbaptist.com

  6. Now that you are signed in, click on the "Campus Library" tile

  7. Next click the plus sign ( + ) in the bottom right-hand corner of the window to initiate adding a video

  8. Now you can click "Online" and paste a youtube.com video link OR you can select "Upload" and then choose a video file that you would like to upload.

  9. After you paste the youtube.com link in the provided blank, click "Get Info"

    1. Note: If the video is already available in the library a "click here" link will be provided so that you can navigate directly to the video.

  10. The "Title" and the "Description" are already filled-in but can be changed. You can also set the "Subject" and the appropriate "Grade" level required to view the video.

  11. IMPORTANT: It is best to select both options next to "Visibility." So be sure the "Public Library" and the "District Library" options are selected so that it will show up on the PBS Campus Library web page as well as your specific District's Library.

  12. Click "Submit" and the video should be added within a few minutes.

  13. Once the video is available, any student can go to http://library.parkviewbaptist.com and view any of the pre-approved or newly added videos. It is also possible to send the students a direct link to the video so they do not have to find it in the library themselves (be sure to copy the link from the Campus Library and not the original youtube.com link when sending it to students).
